The Sonshine Christian Dance (SCD) School is a classical ballet academy and is the feeder school for Ballet Excelsior of Houston. Growing confusion over SCD School’s relationship with Ballet Excelsior prompted the academy to change its name to the Excelsior School of Dance and Performing Arts.
To herald the name change, Excelsior School of Dance asked us to create a brochure that highlighted the school's unique features. We took an image of a young girl that was the target demographic and built the concept around her emotions and aspirations to become a world-class ballerina.
